Instructions:
Print out the letters you need for your banner or other projects on any colored paper you like...I recommend cardstock thickness. Cut around the outer line.
For banner: Punch holes in upper corners of each letter. String ribbon through the holes... having ribbon showing on the back of each letter.
For tags: Punch a hole through center top of the letter. String with ribbon, seam binding, yarn, hemp, or raffia.
To add more embellishments: Try using decorative stamps to corners, glitter, gluing on gems, using markers, buttons, rickrack, ribbons/trims hanging from the ends of each letter, aging ink to edges, adding scrapbooking papers to the back of each letter to make it bigger, and adding fabric strips to the bottom of each letter...to wave in the breeze. The possibilities go on and on!
